PSTD is READY to take off to the FUTURE

Today marks a significant milestone in PSTD history as 2022 BOTs gather to co-create the future of learning and development. Our 2022 President elect Rommel Ancheta opened the session and highlighted the importance of looking ahead to prepare for the uncertainty. This would be possible if everyone in the community is able to listen to the beat of the drum and move as ONE.

Solutions-Focused Thinking with Kenneth Kwan

Kenneth Kwan talked about solutions-focused thinking as one of the concurrent speakers in the recent PSTD National Conference. He advised leaders to develop possibility thinking, focus on what is working, and helping people take action independently. Kwan shared two stories to illustrate his principles and sang the chorus of a British hit song to make his point.

Adult learning focuses on the adult learners’ characteristics or more specifically, their character especially from Jennifer Kavanagh’s perspectives. It will focus on the following characteristics: experience, self-consciousness, goal-orientation, different reaction times and collaboration. Finally, it will end with how adult learning can impact trainers’ respective workshop, seminars or training.

The implementation phase is where you actually do the project work to produce the deliverables. The implementation phase involves putting the project plan into action.
