The year 2021 was the height of the pandemic. The subsequent year 2022 was the slow recovery of what was lost, missed and undecided.
I invite you now to join us in discovering how else we can make a difference in the future of the organization we represent by joining us in this forthcoming 47th National Convention of PSTD where we grow, learn and be transformed.
This year we decided to refocus, realign and re-center our thrust of the theme in this forthcoming National Convention on the 3 Pillars of the OnePstd strategies namely:
Center of Excellence (C. O. E. )
Community of Practice ( C. O. P. )
Business Strategic Partner ( B. S. P. )
So we bring you our theme, 𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐃: 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆. 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. This 3-day virtual event on September 28-30, 2022 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM will be showcasing 30+ world-class speakers spread across 4 tracks targeting business leaders and L&D professionals representing different sectors including private, government, academe, and non-profit organizations. The event will also serve as an opportunity to promote brands, products, and services.
We envision PSTD to be the training hub of Asia where the learning and development practice is based on the foundation and framework of excellent design and implementation of our mastery courses and certification program. The groundwork theory is premised on the effective practice of the few is shared to the significant many to becoming a community where shared goals and vision are fully realized. It serves as the benchmark to the next practice.
We forward growth movement has been cyclical and evolving to the next higher level of learning, elevated and transforming. Today we see the profession of being called TD Professionals as an agent of change, as it were an ‘ajent Provocateur’ (French: to stir up, stimulate, incite) to provoke change and break the barriers that prevent the structure of a learning culture to grow. The individual mastery which leads to the creation of an effective team becomes an influencer of growth and creative partnership with the organization and its senior management. Thus, contribute to the growth and development of its people resources.
The role of the TD Professional has now been redefined and elevated to a strategic level as a partner of management in equal footing with the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and CMO (Chief Marketing Officer).
After all is said and done here, only with humility that we can claim and renamed our role and practice worthy to be called as “C. L. O.”, Chief Learning Officer of the organization. So be it.
