THE TRAINER AS MENTOR

Course Description

The course provides an opportunity for organizations to address the long term development needs of their people through mentoring to achieve individual and organizational excellence. It will help people remove barriers that hinder their personal and/or professional success. It will help them acquire learning beyond what their current jobs require and prepare for a future that offers different and greater challenges for them and their organizations.

The course will discuss a number of ways mentors can help others make the journey to that future. These include mentors serving as guide as people deal with their concerns, encouraging a critical review and fundamental change in their mindsets in the light of new possibilities for them and their organizations, and facilitating people’s commitment to measurable behavior change and the achievement of business results.
